I am so grateful to be an Early Bird reviewer and it’s time once again to feature another amazing cookbook from Gooseberry Patch. Whenever I get one of their cookbooks I always think that “it’s” my favorite, but then I get a new one and that becomes my favorite! Weeknight Dinners is broken down into days of the week and each day has a theme: Meatless Monday; Tuesday is Tex-Mex Night; Wednesday is Italian Night; Comfort Food Thursday; and Just for Fun Friday! How cute is that? Now you’ll never be wondering what’s for dinner! Of course I started off with the Sticky Buns, but I also made quite a few other recipes too. I always plan our menus for the week and this book has been a lifesaver!
Ingredients are as follows:
24 frozen dinner rolls
3 oz. package cook & serve butterscotch pudding
1/2 C sugar
1/4 C brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 C pecan halves
1/2 C butter, melted
Directions:
Arrange frozen dinner rolls into a greased 9″ x 13″ pan.
Mix together the dry pudding mix, both sugars and cinnamon.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over the rolls.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the rolls.
Sprinkle the pecans over the top.
Tent the pan with foil; place pan in a cold oven and allow to rise overnight.
Remove pan from the oven; preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove the foil and bake for 30 minutes; or until golden brown.
Let stand a few minutes then invert pan and remove rolls.
Pull some apart and enjoy!
Please note: if you don’t want to wait for these to rise overnight just thaw the frozen dough, place in pan and continue with the recipe, however don’t place in a cold oven. Just preheat the oven and bake! This recipe is from Weeknight Dinners by Gooseberry Patch.

All year long, I like to make a soup once a week in the crockpot. My husband loves every GBP soup recipe I have tried. I think he loves the potato soup the best. I frequently get up and find that he is eating left over soup for his breakfast!!
Thanks for all you make available to us!

Our old stand by dinner has been fish fillets & french fries. We have tried to make it somewhat healthier by using actual fish fillets & oven fried potatoes.
BTW, I have been making the butterscotch rolls for years. I let them thaw a little & cut them in half to make sure they are cooked all the way through. I use a little more brown sugar & butter & place them in a bundt pan. Makes a nice presentation!
I eat lots of Tex-Mex food, and burritos are one of my favorites. Thanks for the chance to win the cookbook.

We will make a breaded chicken parm.
YUM!!! Our favorite is chicken tacos. I use the slow cooker on Sunday or Monday so we have plenty of chicken for taco filling. Plus fresh from the garden lettuce and tomatoes, a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of cheese.
Okay, I'm hungry again!
