Almond Joy* candy bars are a delightful little treat, but what happens when you’re in the mood for one and you don’t have any? You make Almond Joy* Brownie Bites! These are the perfect snack to take that craving away. First there is a chocolate fudge brownie base that’s topped with sweetened coconut. Then drizzle on some chocolate, sprinkle on some almonds and it’s perfect. So simple and oh so delicious!
Ingredients are as follows:
1 box of family size Chocolate Fudge brownie mix
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (14 oz.) bag coconut
1/4 C milk
1/4 C milk
1 C chocolate chips, melted
1/4 C almonds (or nuts), crushed
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line (regular size, not mini) cupcake pan with paper liners. (Don’t skip the paper liners, I did the first time and they all stuck! This recipe makes 24 brownie bites, however I’m only showing 12).
Make brownies according to package directions and pour batter only half way up the liners.
Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes. While they are baking, mix the coconut, sweetened condensed milk and milk together.
Remove brownies from oven and spoon on some sweetened coconut.
Place back in oven and continue to bake an additional 14-16 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before removing the paper liners. Drizzle on the chocolate then sprinkle on the almonds.
Take a bite and enjoy!

I'm so happy you enjoyed them 🙂
I made these today. I opted to used ghiradelli brownie mix (our favorite). However…they stuck to the cupcake liner. Next time if I use the ghiradelli mix I'll opt for the foil liners. Other than that they taste fabulous!
YUM-O! Thanks for sharing this recipe at the Shady Porch Rock 'N Share! Hope to see you again soon! Blessings, D@TheShadyPorch P.S. Shared your recipe on FB page…it was a hit!
oh my goodness, my entire office loved them. i didn't get 24 oddly enough and the brownies stuck a bit to the foil liners, but overall just great. i'm making them again right now, using paper liners this time 🙂 still didn't get 24, guess i'm using too much brownie mixture. i also mixed the almonds into the coconut mixture because there weren't enough nuts for me 😉
I'm so happy to hear that everyone liked them! Thanks for letting me know about the foil liners 🙂
i'm using the tin foil liners, lisa do you think they'll work? also, i only yielded 16! i filled the cups half way, but they rose quite a bit so next time i'm going to do only one teaspoon instead of two teaspoons per liner. and then of course i had too much coconut mixture. oh well! they look and sound amazing, thanks for sharing 🙂
I'm sure the tin foil liners will be fine. Yes, be careful not to fill them too full. I hope you enjoyed them 🙂
