Creamy peanut butter mousse on a rich brownie tart that’s topped with a milk chocolate drizzle.
I love peanut butter and chocolate together; one of my favorite combinations! The other day the kids wanted brownies, but I was in the mood for something with peanut butter. I decided to make a peanut butter mousse then swirl it on top of rich, decadent brownies. To top it off I took some milk chocolate, melted it down and drizzled it on top. We made them into tarts so they are bite size and you can toss them right into your mouth!
Ingredients are as follows:
brownies:
1/2 C butter
3/4 C sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 C cocoa powder
1/2 C flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
peanut butter mousse:
1/2 C creamy peanut butter
1/2 C powdered sugar
1/2 C heavy whipping cream
1/4 C milk chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease two mini-muffin tins.
Over low heat, melt butter in a pan.
Remove from heat; stir in the sugar, beaten eggs, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Mix until combined.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake 10-12 minutes; until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
Take a spoon handle and press down the center of each one; set aside.
Whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.
Mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar together; fold in the whipped cream.
Evenly pipe onto the cooled brownies.
Melt the chocolate chips.
Drizzle on top and enjoy!
Girl these look so good. Please drop some off at my house.
