Warm & delicious Hot Milk Cake!

Warm and delicious Hot Milk Cake is quite the cake!  This is actually the first time I’ve made one, but it won’t be the last!  I’ve heard of this cake before and have been wanting to try it out but never got around to it.  Then I recently received the Gooseberry Patch Quick & Easy Christmas Cookbook and the recipe happened to be in there.  So I got to work and I must say the end result is delicious!  It’s kind of a cross between a pound cake and a sponge cake.  It’s a quick and easy recipe that came together in no time at all.  It bakes up beautifully and it doesn’t even need a frosting…it’s that good!  I’ll be featuring another recipe (or two) from this book then you’ll have a chance to get one too.  Just in time for the holidays!
