Is Keto the way to go? For me, the answer is simply yes! A few years ago I tried Keto and have lost over 60 pounds. I’ve been able to keep the weight off without a ton of exercise, I eat a wide variety of foods and feel great.
To learn about the diet, just turn to the internet…there is a ton of information! I read a lot of sites, and adjusted the diet to what worked for me. I did write everything down so I could see what worked and what didn’t. If you’re just starting out I would highly recommend keeping track of things. Over the span of having four kids and owning a dessert blog, I gained some weight. I tried several diets but nothing really stuck. I’d do it for awhile, give up and then try something different. Nothing really changed until I heard about the Keto diet. For some reason it clicked and I’m so thankful it did!
I’ve lost over 60 pounds and have kept it off for several years. When I first started, I was pretty strict and walked three miles on a treadmill, about four days a week. I kept track of what I ate, what worked and what didn’t. I wrote it all down and then tweaked it to what I enjoyed and what was most beneficial for me. That is why I did this Keto helper…so you can succeed and acheive your goal too. I did check to see if I was in Ketosis every once in awhile, occassionally added Collagen to my drinks, but I did not eat processed Keto bars or snacks, I just stuck to homemade food so I knew exactly what I was eating.
Once the weight was off, I didn’t exercise as much or remain as strict. I still don’t, however, I still try to get in about 10,000 steps, I graze during the day, but always sit down for dinner. Doing so has allowed me to keep the weight off and enjoy this lifestyle.
