We don’t know about you, but food heaven is all we seem to dream about. There’s not a day that goes by where we don’t think about all of the amazing food that we could eat, and what people are currently eating. It might be because it’s always plastered on social media every single day, or it might just be down to the fact that we’re massive foodies. So if you can relate to this, and you know you spend your days focusing on food and thinking about all of the amazing creations on there, then this article is for you. Because even though you think about food, it’s not always what you decide to try and replicate. We really do understand that your life is going to be hectic, and it’s not like you can spend eight hours or more in the office, slaving away all day, to then come home and have to make something even harder. So you might be the type of person to whack a microwave meal in the oven and call it a day. If this is you, we’re going to transport you to food heaven, and show you how eating well is not as hard as it might seem.
For The Meat Lovers
If you cook meat in the right way, it’s hands down one of the nicest things you can taste. For all of you veggies out there, skip right onto the next paragraph. Now, you might think that cooking a nice dinner with some meat in is only going to take time, but we’re going to introduce you to an easy steak recipe that will change your life. In the morning before work, put the steak in a pyrex dish and pour a ton of BBQ sauce in. Most shops sell restaurant branded BBQ sauce which is the best. Or, if you like the spice, you could go for ghost pepper sauce. Salt and pepper it, then leave it for the day. Then, all you need to do is chop some potatoes into small chunks, coat in olive oil and mix herbs, throw in some salt and pepper and mix together. Put it in a 200 preheated oven, and cook for 30 minutes. Where there are 20 minutes left, chuck in a buttered corn on the cob wrapped in tin foil. With 10 minutes to go, heat up the grill and cook the steak to your liking. And there you have it, and amazing steak dinner ready in around 45 minutes!
For The Veggies
For all you veggies out there, we’re going to have to go halloumi. Halloumi skewers are so tasty and easy to make. All you need is the main ingredient…halloumi, some skewers, and some veg. You can use the same potato idea as a side as well! So put your chunks of veg on the sticks. Cook in a preheated oven for around 15 minutes on a high temperature. Then, take it out and off the skewer. Redo them for with the halloumi on, and put them on for five to ten minutes, checking the halloumi throughout to make sure it’s cooking, but not too much!
