Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts

I love Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs!  It’s one of my favorite things this time of year.  With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought I’d make a batch and shape them into hearts!  I did some in milk chocolate and some in white since my husband loves white chocolate.  These are extremely easy to make and store well too…just put them in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge. Then take some out and share with your Valentine!

Ingredients are as follows:

1/4 C butter
1 1/2 C creamy peanut butter
1/8 tsp. salt
4 C powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. milk

Chocolate Bark (or white bark) for coating

Directions:

Cream together the butter, peanut butter and salt.

Slowly mix in the powdered sugar until it becomes crumbly.

Add the milk and mix until it starts to come together.

Pour out onto a flat surface.

Knead together until it forms a ball.

Roll out to desired thickness.

Cut out the hearts (I used a cookie cutter) and place onto a baking sheet.

Place in the freezer.  Melt the chocolate bark, remove the hearts from the freezer and start dipping them into the melted chocolate.

Decorate however you like!

 Take a bite and enjoy!
