Pineapple Sheet Cake
The wonderful folks at Gooseberry Patch once again asked me to review their newest cookbook called Rush-Hour Recipes and it is great! There are more than 230 recipes that can be made in very little time. I know so many people are busy these days so this is the perfect cookbook to help you out! They’ve graciously offered one of you a cookbook and I’m adding a little gift to go along with it too! All you have to do is leave a comment below.
I decided to make the Pineapple Sheet Cake and it turned out delicious!
Ingredients are as follows:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 15″ x 10″ jelly-roll pan.
Mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, vanilla, eggs and pineapple.
Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. While the cake is baking, cream together the cream cheese, margarine (or butter), vanilla and powdered sugar.
Spread on the cake (I then put mine in the fridge to get it nice and cold).
Slice, serve, and enjoy!

One of my favorite recipes is called Cottage Cheese Rolls. The name does not do it justice, as it is a rolled cookie dough filled with brown sugar and walnuts,baked to a golden brown and covered in powdered sugar. The dough only has four ingredients (one being cottage cheese), and everyone always thinks it is a specialty of some sort (and they ask for the recipe). iloveicarus@yahoo.com

This cake is similar to one they make down here in NC called "Pig Pickin' Cake". No pig pickin' would be complete without it, and it's welcomed at every party, pig pickin' or not! VERY popular and VERY good. This one sounds easier and just as yummy! Thanks!

There is a classic soul food cake called "Sock It To Me" cake and this is my go-to recipe for potlucks, picnics, family gatherings, etc. It is so good and buttery delicious!

Hello, I am already a follower of yours, and I would absolutely LOVE to with this Gooseberry Patch Book, Rush Hour Recipes. I have had many a 'rush hour' when my two boys were growing up and I was working full time as a teacher. Today, i find myself temporarily disabled and awaiting surgery to give back mobility to my legs. I have found that the quick and easy recipes are usually the ones i can handle in this condition as I continue to cook for my household.
