You need to be focused on your nutrition as well. Focusing on your nutrition will help you to achieve your goal of preventing hair loss and increasing hair growth.

Eat More Eggs

Eating more eggs is a surefire way to get nourishment to your hair. Eggs are loaded with proteins and your hair is made of proteins. It’s easy to see why eating this nutritious food can have a positive impact on your hair growth and hair health.  The good thing about eggs is that there are so many ways that you can enjoy them. You can fry them, boil them, and scramble them to name a few of the more popular ways to consume them.

Dark Green Leafy Vegetables

When your body is deficient in iron it can cause your hair to start falling. This is because oxygen and other essential nutrients cannot reach the roots of your hair to nourish it and get it to grow.  Instead, your hair will become very weak and start to fall out. You may need to use hair toppers to try to make your hair look fuller whenever possible.  To prevent hair loss, it’s always a good idea to make sure that you’re getting as much iron as possible in your diet.  You can try to take iron supplements but you need to make sure that you consult with your doctor first.  You don’t want to get too much iron in your diet just as you don’t want to get too little.

You must get a lot of citrus fruits in your diet. Citrus will give you a lot of vitamin C. Vitamin C is one of those essential items that you must have for iron to absorb properly. You don’t have to do a lot to get your daily dose of vitamin C. You can get the maximum dose of vitamin C that you need for an entire day simply by squeezing one lime into a glass of water.

Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega 3 fatty acids are great for thickening your hair. Your body doesn’t organically produce these types of healthy fat.   The best way to get them is to incorporate them into your diet. The good news is that you can easily incorporate it into your diet by eating fish such as salmon, and mackerel.  You can also get these fatty acids by eating almonds and nuts as well. Some people prefer to eat seeds such as flaxseed, to get to this nutrient as well. You can decide which method is best for you.

Eat Whole Grains

Try to get as many whole grains as possible into your diet so that you can get a lot of biotin. Biotin is an ingredient that is used in many hair products and with good reason. It is a great way to prevent hair fall and to get your hair growing faster.  You can get a lot of whole-grain nutrients in the body by eating brown rice, and oats.
