Creamy peanut butter fudge is something I crave all the time! I love the different flavors of fudge, how it melts in your mouth, and that a little piece goes a long way. When I started making fudge, I made it the old fashioned way which took some time. Now that I’ve been cooking for quite a few years, I’ve found a way to make it in the microwave! That means I can whip up a batch of fudge any time I want. Plus this recipe doesn’t require any marshmallows or fluff so you most likely have everything you need in your pantry. Once you sink your teeth into this, you’ll see and taste how creamy and scrumptious it is...enjoy!
Ingredients are as follows:
1 C butter (no substitutes)
1 C creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C powdered sugar
Directions:
Grease an 8 x 8 inch pan.
Place the butter into a bowl and melt in the microwave.

Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla.

Slowly mix in the powdered sugar; stir until combined.

Place back in the microwave and heat for 1 minute on high.

Stir again and then pour into prepared pan.

Place in the fridge until it sets up. Slice, serve and enjoy!

Just put mine in the fridge, can not wait to try it tomorrow!!!! 😉
I hope you enjoy it 🙂
Can I cut the recipe in half? Looks delish.
You can, but you’ll have to use a smaller pan for a thicker fudge.
Mine didn’t set up completely it was very good 😂😂😂 I’m not quite sure what I did wrong lol Anyone have any ideas?
You can’t use all natural peanut butter, and you have to stir it in between the cooking times…hope that helps 🙂
Did you figure it out? I want to make this but butter is too expensive to waste if it doesn’t come out right.
Bea, You’re right butter is expensive and 2 sticks is a lot of butter for fudge not to mention the amount of oil already in peanut butter. I have an easy microwave recipe that always sets up perfectly every time. (Microwave Peanut Butter Fudge) – Empty a one pound box of powdered sugar into a microwave safe bowl. (if you have a large bag of powdered sugar that would be 3 & 3/4 cups of unsifted powdered sugar) Make a well in the center with a spoon and place in 2 tablespoons of cold butter/margarine and 1/3 cup milk. Do not mix together. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and (I use a wire whisk) mix together. Place bowl back in microwave heat for 30 seconds more. Remove and add in 1 cup peanut butter (I use Jiff creamy) and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Beat together well till blended evenly and pour into already prepared, buttered or cooking sprayed, 8×8 square baking dish. I loosely lay a sheet of waxed paper over the top and place in refrigerator for a couple hours till set. Comes out perfect every single time.
Thanks Trish 🙂
Love this! Simple and easy!
Thank you Linda!
Trish, thanks for all the inf, very helpful. On my way to the kitchen right now to try this. Will let you know my results.
Enjoy!
I made peanut butter fudge last year and it was soooo good. This sounds even easier than the one I made. Guess I better try this one this year.

Have you viewed Atlantic Highlands NJ Maid Service website
Can you use regular sugar instead of powdered?
Unfortunately not because it won't set up properly.
