Ingredients are as follows:
1 (9 inch) pie crust
1/2 C pecan halves (I crushed mine up because of the kids)
3 eggs
1 C dark corn syrup
1 C sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees; grease a 9″ pie pan.
Place unbaked crust into pie plate and arrange pecans in crust; set aside.
In a bowl, beat eggs well.
Mix in the corn syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt.
Pour mixture over pecans in crust.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce temperature to 325 degrees. Bake an additional 30 minutes or until center of the pie is set (mine took about 55 minutes).
Cool completely then slice, serve and enjoy!

What a great give away….I don't twitter but I already have you followed and liked on everything else….Even if I don't win have a wonderful Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!!!
My favorite Christmas tradition is baking and decorating cookies with my children, and then on christmas eve sitting back and watching the great debate over which cookies that Santa would like better. It always ends up being one from each of them, plus some reindeer food the the reindeer. 🙂 Merry Christmas. ( melaniechick28@yahoo.com)
My favorite Christmas tradition is listening to Christmas Music while trimming the tree and watching the Polar Express with the Grandchildren.
One of out traditions is called a "silly" box. During the year, we each buy different items that cost around $1.00. We wrap them and then on Christmas, after dinner, we take turns taking one out of the box. My grandchildren who are 18 and 20, still get a kick out of this. At the end, we can swap with people it they want if both people want to swap. It's so "silly" that inexpensive gifts can create so much fun!
Our favorite tradition is so simple, it's not really the decorations , the wrapping, it's being with the ones you love and doing it all together, as a family unit, a community unit, and sharing the time working together, loving each other. So we spend time from our busy lives cooking, wrapping, baking and love each other. time and effort shared with respect and love, making many happy memories. Merry Christmas,
