Warmer weather will soon be here and I like to focus on no-bake desserts, so this Chocolate Fudge Banana Cream Pie is the perfect summer dessert! No-bake desserts are so versatile because you can choose from different crusts as well as fillings. I’ve made Cookies & Cream Pie,…
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Minute® Rice. Our family loves rice; any way I make it, they eat it! I used to cook rice the long way, then I switched to the bags and now I found Minute® Rice. I recently just tried this…
I tried this one for a work potluck. They have requested it every month afterwards. 🙂
I also made it healthier by substituting Splenda/Splenda Brown Sugar for the sugars and using Almond Milk in place of the regular milk (along with non-dairy egg replacment). We have a girl with special eating restrictions. This still came out wonderfully and they ate more of it knowing it was healthier.
Thanks for sharing this recipe!!
Thank you for the sweet comment, it is greatly appreciated. I love your healthier substitutions and am going to try it myself 🙂 I’m always looking for ways to make it better without sacrificing the taste!
Got to try this. Regular Apple pie in oven now. Will try this for the next. Thanks for sharing.

What if you don't have a biscuit mix? Do you know how much flour, baking powder, etc. to use instead? I really don't want to go to the store for 1 thing! thanks

Can I make this with peaches?
I'm sure that would turn out delicious 😉
I made this for the 4th of July – I bought individual vanilla ice cream cups & handed a bowl of the apple pie & one of the cups to everyone. They dumped the ice cream on the warm pie, it melted all over & was DELICIOUS! Very easy and anything made in a crockpot that saves time is even better. This is a keeper!
Thank you Karen…I'm so happy you enjoyed it 😉
Thanks. Making this for 4th of July cookout – "All American As Apple Pie" – will probably double recipe!
How many servings does this make?
It would all depend on the size, however we fed six people and had plenty 😉
That looks absolutely delicious! And easy too! I must try this. I pinned it for later. Thank you for sharing.
In the crockpot now…..can't wait…hubby loves apple anything…
I have this in my crock pot right now. is it going to come out dry? How exactly do you tell if its done ? It's been 6hours now in the pot-I feel very much like a Magoo right now. Smells good
Mine did not come out dry at all! You can tell if it's done by piercing a fork into one of the apples, if it's soft, then it's done 🙂 When you serve it, put it in a bowl and add some milk to it…delicious!
I have this in the crock pot right now. Thanks for the recipe!
This sounds fantastic! Thanks, can't wait to try it!!
Omg…..do I'm delish!!!! This is the second time I've made it tho im using granny smith apples this time around….had none leftover last time….
What size crock pot works best???
I used a 6 quart for this 🙂
Betty Crocker makes a good one 🙂
What is a good biscut baking mix?
It all depends on the size of your apples, however I would say around 8-10 apples 🙂
How many apples is 8 cups?

I loved the slow cooker apple Pie except the topping wasn't crunchy like in a regular oven. Isn't it suppose to be crunchy/crispy? Any suggestions.
The topping for this isn't supposed to be crispy; the moisture inside the slow cooker keeps it moist 🙂
Has anybody tried it? I am just wondering if it comes out mushy?
Mine wasn't mushy, but I took mine out at 6 hours. If you wanted it to be firmer you could always check it around 5 hours and go from there 🙂
what size of crockpot
I used a 6 quart for this recipe 🙂
Making it right niw, for father's day breakfast, i added more cinnamin to the topping mix 🙂 it already smells delicious, i can't wait til morning!
