Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with these Simple Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars! These only require a few ingredients, and in a matter of minutes you’ll be enjoying a delicious dessert. The cheesecake center is a tad sweet with a hint of vanilla and the top is loaded with cinnamon and sugar. Once it’s baked, the topping gets a crunch to it that makes this dessert divine! Simple Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars
Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 C powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (8 ounce) Crescent Rolls
- 1/4 C butter, melted
- cinnamon
- sugar
Instructions
- Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together; set aside.
- In a greased 8 x 8″ pan, place half of the crescent rolls; pressing seams together.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
- Take the remaining crescent rolls and place on top making sure the seams are together and the edges are tucked in.
- Pour the melted butter on top.
- Sprinkle desired amount of cinnamon and sugar on top.
- Bake 25-28 minutes.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve and enjoy!
