Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with these Simple Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars! These only require a few ingredients, and in a matter of minutes you’ll be enjoying a delicious dessert. The cheesecake center is a tad sweet with a hint of vanilla and the top is loaded with cinnamon and sugar. Once it’s baked, the topping gets a crunch to it that makes this dessert divine! Simple Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 C powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 8 ounce Crescent Rolls
  • 1/4 C butter melted
  • cinnamon
  • sugar

Instructions

  • Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together; set aside.
  • In a greased 8 x 8″ pan, place half of the crescent rolls; pressing seams together.
  • Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
  • Take the remaining crescent rolls and place on top making sure the seams are together and the edges are tucked in.
  • Pour the melted butter on top.
  • Sprinkle desired amount of cinnamon and sugar on top.
  • Bake 25-28 minutes.
  • Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve and enjoy!
