It’s almost Saint Patrick’s Day, so today I decided to share a delicious Reuben Sandwich with you rather than a dessert.  A classic Reuben Sandwich has corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and russian dressing pressed between two slices of rye bread.  In our house we make some variances due to the kids’ preferences; some don’t like swiss cheeese so we’ll use provolone, and wheat bread instead of rye.  However, for my husband and I, we like the traditional recipe.  I like to put a corned beef in the crock pot and then make the sandwiches, but you can purchase deli corned beef and it’ll be just as scrumptious!  Do you like the classic Reuben sandwich or do you have a twist you’d like to share? Please let me know in the comments!
