I made this recipe over the holidays and it went over really well. I think these would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day treat too. They’re simple to make, only requires a few ingredients and in a matter of minutes you’ll have delicious Mocha Pecan Truffles. They start with crushed cookies, and you add in a little powdered sugar, chopped pecans, cocoa, coffee, and some milk. Take little dollops of the mixture, toss them in some cocoa or powdered sugar and you’re good to go. If you need a simple and delicious treat to make for your loved ones then be sure to try this!
Ingredients are as follows:
2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
2 C powdered sugar
2/3 C
finely chopped pecans, toasted
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1/4 C evaporated milk
1/4 C strong brewed coffee
cocoa powder
powdered sugar
Directions:
Combine the wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, pecans, and cocoa powder.
Add the coffee and milk.
Stir until combined, it’ll be quite sticky!
Place the powdered sugar and cocoa powder into two separate bowls. Take a spoonful of the mixture and put it into one of the bowls.
Roll it around to form a ball and make sure it’s evenly coated. Continue with the rest of the mixture alternating between the powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Serve and enjoy!
I put mine in the fridge for a bit and I liked them cold too!
