I love having Sunday brunch! I make a big meal for us, we sit, we talk, we make memories and it’s something I hope the kids will remember forever. Once we’re done I like to refill our tea/coffee and then have something a little sweet to round out the meal. It has to be something that’s easy, delicious, and can be made while I’m making the other food too.
I love finding new ingredients to try for our brunch and the other day when I was shopping at Walmart I saw the new Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Spread that is naturally sweetened with honey. I saw that I had an Ibotta coupon that I could use so I picked up a jar of the Triple Berry and knew exactly what I was going to make. This shortbread tart is buttery, a little sweet and oh so delicious!

Ingredients are as follows:
1 1/2 C flour
1/2 C powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 C butter, cold
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2-3/4 C fruit spread
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; get a 9″ pizza pan or tart pan ready.
Mix the flour, powdered sugar, and salt together.
Cut in the cold butter until it’s mixed in, it’ll be crumbly.
Knead the dough by hand (in the same bowl).
Knead until the dough comes together and forms a ball.
Press 3/4 of the dough into the pan.
Bake 8-10 minutes; until slightly brown. Remove from the oven and evenly spread on the Fruit & Honey Spread.
Crumble the remaining 1/4 dough on top.
Bake an additional 18-20 minutes; until golden brown on top.
Allow to cool. Slice, serve and enjoy!
