Creamy caramel sandwiched in between two buttery pretzels
then dipped in chocolate & covered in sprinkles!
I love quick, simple and delicious desserts and these Caramel filled Chocolate Covered Pretzels are just that! I started with a tub of caramel from Chocoley (let me tell you, this stuff is delicious…you’ll have a hard time keeping your fingers out of it!) I put a spoonful in between two buttery square pretzels then dipped them in milk chocolate and white chocolate. I added some green sprinkles, some green sugar and also dyed the white chocolate green with some coloring oil. I have to admit, these were one of the easiest desserts to make, but also one of the most delicious. The combination of caramel and chocolate go together perfectly! There are no real exact measurements, but I showed you the concept and you can make however many you choose. I made mine green for St. Patrick’s Day, but they would be pretty in all kinds of colors and sprinkles for any holiday!
Ingredients are as follows:
caramel
pretzels
milk chocolate, melted
white chocolate, melted
sprinkles
colored sugar
coloring oil
Directions:
Lay out a piece of waxed paper.
Spoon out one teaspoon of caramel and place onto a pretzel.
Dip one half of the pretzel sandwich into the melted chocolate.
Remove and let the excess chocolate drip off. Shake on some sprinkles or colored sugar and place onto the waxed paper.
