Have you ever seen those strawberries that are filled with cream and then dipped in chocolate? They look so good! I didn’t have time to make them so I decided to come up with a dessert that had the same flavor combination without all the work. This is so simple to put together and it definitely hit the spot!
Ingredients are as follows:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces cool whip, thawed
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 pack of chocolate cream filled cookies
1 pound strawberries, sliced (my strawberries were big so you may not need all of them)
Directions:
Crush the cookies until a fine crumbly mixture; set aside.
Cream together the cream cheese, cool whip and powdered sugar.
Spread half of the cream cheese mixture onto the bottom of an 8×8″ pan.
Sprinkle half of the chocolate crumbs on top.
Arrange a layer of strawberries on top.
Repeat the layers ending with pretty strawberries on top.
Spoon some out and enjoy!
This is a beautiful and very flavorful dessert that we would just love! Hope you have a fabulous Celebration Week End and thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday.
Come Back Soon,
