In a saucepan, add milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar; whisk together.
Place over medium heat and bring up to a simmer.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and the hot coffee.
Pour into a mug, spoon on some whipped cream and sprinkle on some cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
I buy a can of pumpkin puree, spoon two tablespoons of it into each slot of an ice cube tray, and toss it in the freezer. Once it's frozen, we empty them into a container and keep it in the freezer until we need it!Adapted from Inspired Taste
