I love a good bread! Usually I don’t eat a lot of bread because I watch my carb intake, however when I do eat it, I love it fresh from the oven. Then I slab on some butter and enjoy! This Rustic French Baguette recipe is from my husband’s grandfather. I was going through some old cookbooks and found this and was so surprised that it was from him. I couldn’t wait to get in the kitchen to try it out and I’m so happy I did. This bread is crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside which is the perfect french baguette. I hope you enjoy this as much as we do and I can’t wait to pass this recipe down to my kids.

This recipe is amazing!
It’s my go to bread recipe, now.
The baguette as it is was a bit too salty for me, so reduced it to 1 3/4 tsp.
Also, once shaped I leave some in the fridge and bake straight out of the fridge into oven, in the morning.
It’s amazing!
Thank you, I’m so happy you enjoy it as much as we do!
