Now I’ll be honest, we are not very musically inclined, but we can carry a beat. The kids have an electric keyboard, two ukuleles, 3 recorders, and now a set of homemade drums! We took one of our favorite snacks, Pringles® chips and turned them into a fun set of DIY drums. It was quite simple to do and enjoyable as well. Once we ate our delicious chips we cut the cans in half. We left the lids on one end and the other end was the metal. Then all we had to do is flip them over and start drumming away!
As you can see they are a blast. The kids so much fun and being that the tops had different materials on them they made different sounds when the drum sticks hit.
This was a quick, easy and fun instrument for the kids to make. If you’d like to see more, Pringles® invites you to join their inaugural Summer Jam for music fans nationwide, giving them access to their favorite artists and music.
