Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside and filled with chocolate chips;
just like the perfect chocolate chip cookie, but made into a quick bread!
Chocolate Chip Cookies are a favorite treat at our house and I’m sure a lot of yours too! There’s something about the crispy edges and that soft gooey center that melts in your mouth for pure deliciousness. What if you’re in the mood for a cookie, but you don’t have a lot of time or you don’t feel like making a batch? Now you can whip up a loaf of this Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quick Bread. You get to enjoy the taste and texture of a cookie without all the fuss!
Ingredients are as follows:
3 eggs
1 1/2 C sugar
2/3 C oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 C flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C chocolate chips
1 tsp. flour (to coat the chocolate chips)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
Beat the eggs until frothy.
Whisk in the sugar, oil and vanilla.
Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Coat the chocolate chips with the teaspoon of flour.
Stir into the batter.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 60=65 minutes; until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
Slice, serve and enjoy!
