Welcome to our first Mix it up Monday for February! Punxsutawney Phil predicts an early Spring. I sure hope so because the past few days it’s been cold and we’ve gotten a ton of snow! I’m ready for some nice weather…and for all the projects and recipes that you’re going to share 🙂 Feel free to share as many as you like. Our motto here is “the more, the merrier“ and have fun! I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Lisa, thanks for hosting another great party! I brought over my Super Bowl Chili. I know the Super Bowl is over, but this is just too good not to share.
I also brought over a link to our new Monday party – What'd You Do This Weekend? Hope you can ramble over and leave us something and grab a button. Enjoy!

Hi Lisa, thanks for hosting 🙂
Thank you for hosting Lisa. 🙂 This week I shared my Stuffed Crust Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pizza Have a great week!
I am just about finished with a full month of the Wahls Paleo Diet which is all about eating the right foods to keep the body, specifically nerves, functioning at optimally. I decided to try her diet after having my daughter. Right now all the food she gets is from my breast milk. I want to make sure she gets all the nutrition she needs to grow and I'm eating food that will help replenish my body so I'm in optimal shape for our second baby. I'm calling this series of posts about the Wahls Diet: Brain Food.
This week I am sharing a recipe that works with the Wahls Paleo Diet and is delicious for winter: Cabbage Soup: http://foyupdate.blogspot.com/2013/02/brain-food-sauerkraut-and-cabbage-soup.html
As well as 5 strategies I have come up with to eat 9 cups of veggies, 4 oz of protein and no gluten or dairy every day. http://foyupdate.blogspot.com/2013/01/five-strategies-for-wahls-diet.html
Thanks for hosting!
