I’m so happy that I received Russell Brunson’s new book to read.  Please note this is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers

For most people, starting a blog is something they do to share their creativity, recipes, or just a place to talk.  However, what a lot of people don’t realize is that it can turn into a business that allows you to make money.  When I started this site, it was to share my love of baking.  Some may find it hard or confusing to bake, but I decided to break down recipes, using step-by-step photo tutorials so everyone and anyone could not only follow along, but learn as well.  Little did I know, it was a hit right from the start and I am forever grateful!

Now don’t let me fool you, it has been a lot of hard work and I’m always looking for new ways to improve my site as well as my traffic.  I’m constantly on the lookout for new books and was eager to read Traffic Secrets.  Russell Brunson  shares the same strategies he used to take Clickfunnels from zero to over $100 million in revenue in just three years. He has built a following of over a million entrepreneurs, sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books and popularized the concept of sales funnels.  He’ll show you how your dream customer is already online, now your task (using his techniques) is to figure out where they are, use a funnel to get them to subscribe to your mailing list and then produce great content so you can continue to grow that list.

Then once you release a product, you already have customers who know you, are comfortable with you, trust you and are willing to purchase something you sell.  If you decide not to sell a product, you may have ads on your site which allows you to earn money as well.  The key is increased traffic…your dream customers are already online. All you have to do is figure out where they are congregating, and get in front of them.

Traffic is the lifeblood of any company, and consistent lead flow is the secret to a healthy business.

I’m not quite finished with the book, however I have learned a great deal of information.  Honestly, some of it was literally right in front of my face.  I try to publish on all of my social media sites, but Russell focuses on one (to start) so you can do it and do it well.  For me, trying to publish on all of my social media sites drives me crazy! I know that I’m not doing it up to my standards, I’m doing it to get it done.  So now, I have taken a step back, I’m focusing on one.  It has allowed me to really look at my metrics; showing me where my customers are coming from, their age groups, what they search up, what has been shared the most, etc.  Once I get the first one down pat, only then can I move onto another.  I love how this book shows you step-by-step how to do this and once you complete the 30-day challenge, you’ll also learn key strategies to increase your site traffic too.
