#MixUpAMoment with Easter Egg Cupcakes
Easter is almost here and that means it’s time to go on an egg hunt, find the baskets, and color eggs!  Easter is one of my favorite holidays because it’s a beautiful day that doesn’t involve a lot of tasks that have to be done.  We normally make a fruit salad and one other dessert for Easter and most of the time it’s cupcakes.  My kids love cupcakes and they love decorating them too!

We like to treat our cupcake decorating like decorating Easter eggs.  I mix up different colors of frosting and get out the sprinkles too.  Being that I always have Pillsbury™ Cakes mixes and frosting in my pantry it’s easy for us to whip these up in no time at all.  Since it’s Easter, we love to use the Spring cake mix and frosting.

I love how the frosting has a separate container of adorable sprinkles attached to the top so it makes decorating quite easy, and saves me money too.  The little pastel flowers are so cute!

We all sit around the table, take our time and see what creations we can come up with.  Once we’re all done we like to put them on a tray and give them to our neighbors.  It’s a nice surprise, and it’s our way of showing them how grateful we are to have them as friends.  It’s a tradition we’ve had for years!
