If you have kids then you know they always seem to be hungry!  I allow mine to have a little snack, but something that won’t ruin their dinners.  However, for many kids they don’t have that option.  Nearly 16 million children in the U.S. live in food-insecure households, where they are unable to consistently access enough nutritious food necessary for a healthy life.  Many of their parents rely on food banks to get the food they need to provide for their family. One of the most requested staples is milk, though it is rarely donated.  I was asked to participate in a sponsored post on behalf of got milk? snack products as part of the Mom It Forward Blogger Network and I’m more than happy to do my part because no kid should go without.

Introducing got milk? snack products; snacks that are fun, flavorful, and pair perfectly with milk.  They currently consist of snacks, cookies, cereals and granola bars. The snack product line includes a variety of classic, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan offerings…a little something for everyone!

For us, we have easy access to milk and snacks, however a lot do not. We are asking teachers, parents and other student stakeholders to submit a classroom that they believe deserves a got milk? party via a designated Facebook tab. At the end of the campaign period (September 28 through October 9), we will select five classrooms to receive a got milk? party in a box, which will include decorations, branded items, snack products and a gift card to a local grocery store where they can purchase milk. Even better – for every submission we receive, we will make a donation to The Great American Milk Drive, which provides milk to families in need through Feeding America.
