Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are a little crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside
 …the perfection combination!

We’ve been making a lot of cookies lately!  This time we whipped up a batch of Oatmeal Raisin; they have a little crunch on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside.  You’ll love the simplicity of these cookies and you most likely have everything in your pantry.  I don’t like my cookies to have a strong cinnamon flavor so I only added a little, however you can add more if you prefer.  These only take a few steps to make and they bake up in a matter of minutes.  They’re especially good when they’re still warm from the oven!

Ingredients are as follows:

1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 C white sugar
3/4 C butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 C flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 3/4 C oats
1 1/2 C raisins

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease two cookie sheets.

Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar and butter.
